Hi gang,
Back in the office last week after a nice little 5 day break in Slovakia. Things busy as always, here's what i'm going to be up to this week:
- Proofing IPD’s second position paper on Life Skills and Livelihoods (it follows the pink HIV/AIDS one). It should be ready in time for the Board meeting. Also preparing a presentation on Sierra Leone for the Board.
- Trying to put the next Insight together
- Working with the website guys on YJIA site development, including new ‘Facts’ section, 'Real Lives' section etc. Also working on the Online Planning & Evaluation toolkit and changes to the main YCI site. The YJIA site changes are almost done, we will be closing the site down for 1-2 days while we implement those. But there will be a message for site users along those lines. I'll let you know beforehand when that's going to be. Our designer is now thinking about the YJIA ‘take action’ handcuff cards.
- Some leaflets are also being produced for Fundraising – two relate to your department so I will email these to you separately.
- Printing of the Lost Childhoods report on former child soldiers in Colombia - we've done a French version (can you believe that has been going on since last year? We've produced an English, Spanish and French report and the resource pack. Glad to finally be putting that one to bed).
- Follow up on visit of Photo-journalist to Honduras, Nicaragua and Peru
- Burma appeal update
That'll be enough to be getting on with.
Have a good week.
