After the emails

HI Everyone,

Hope you are all well and things are going good.

I have sspend all day reading delting and/or replying to emails of which there were over 100.
As part of my trianing last week which was at the Centre we looked at things that can get us down or more to the point take up out time. So I had sent today aside to conquer the montain and now I am standing at the top with my flag. !!

The training I did was 'How to be more assertive at work' which I found very helpful and think that everyone should do it even if you are confident in what you do as it may help you to see how we sometimes get to the point were "we feel the pips squeeking" to qoute Matt.
It looked at a whole range of differnt things from time management to top ten tips on effective networking, developing confident, positive personal presentation to assertive negotiation and saying no. All very good.

I am in the office the rest of the week (Tues and Wed morning).
Next week I am in the office all day Tues, Wed morining and then Departmaental meeting Fir all day 27th June.
I am working on packs to send to each YMCA contact with YJIA and YWN leaflets hot of the press, writing a short 18 month report as I am now half way through the project. And starting to draw more detail to workshops and worship events for Prague 08. As well as supporting Darlington YMCA with they YJIA seed funding project and Conestt project looking at the pressures young people face today international.

I will then be on Annual leave 30th June -13th July. Frist day back will be 14th in the NE office.
