Hello amigos,
You may have already figured that I’m not a morning person, but I do quite enjoy a quiet evening in the office to reconnect with the cuddly friends I’ve abandoned for so long.
I think I can cope with this blogging lark -and I've enjoyed reading your pip-squeaking posts so far.
Right, so - I'm back in the office and this time for a proper stint - pretty much all month I'll be at my desk (or in meetings) catching up with everything I should have probably done ages ago. Apart from a day in Wales sometime (along with Stuart and Matt) and possibly a day in Scotland.
This week - Monday and Tuesday was the England & Wales Youth Justice in Action planning meeting (tied into a CYW course). I'm feeling very happy that YMCA England have taken on the national level element of the campaign so that we can really concentrate on the global - hooray! It went well despite being a small group: Kingston & Wimbledon and the Welsh combined group (who went to Sierra Leone) but YMCAE will be contacting the other active YJIA Y's (Darlington, Richmond, Blackburn) to keep them involved in plans. Let me know if you want further explanation on this.
Rest of the week - Meeting with Latin America desk about Honduras
- Friday lunch time presentation with Stuart on Sierra Leone/Wales visit
Over and out,
Céline x

welcome back to your desk and your furry friends (and I'm not on about my sunburnt back)...
Glad CYW went ok - how were the Welsh guys? Who turned up? I would have loved to have been there but was tied up with the Advocates. (just fyi Darlington fed back to Sue that the notice from YMCAE was too short for CYW)
Any news about the Wales date after matt asked Mo if it could be the 16th? I'll have to start making travel arrangements soon and we'll need to plan something (!!!!)
As and when you hear anything ther let me know.
