Cultivating my Garden

Ay-up the lads and lasses,

This week and last I have been knee-deep in mud helping to cultivate little money seeds into glorious, global Gooseberry Bushes. I've been doing LOTS of admin and paying of monies etc Got my hands really dirty and now my fingers are all green.

What else have I been doing?
  • Been setting up mechanisms for the successful applicants to do peer review
  • I've also been working on how we can link two of the seed funding projects with Indian YMCAs and am meeting with Darren and Stuart next week to take this forward.
  • Setting up a workshop for a group of Danes
  • Hanging out with the advocates tomorrow
  • Met with Gemma for ideas to improve communication from us to members of the network, CEOs and also to look at how to improve linking between website and forum
  • Been putting down ideas for developing toolkits and the Youth Justice Summer of Love on the Forum
  • Working with Gemma on an e-newsletter for the YWN and sourcing possible stories for inclusion
  • Planning for Scotland Advanced GYW Training Day at the end of the month
  • Looking at ways we can work better with YMCA Scotland after my meeting with Peter Crory and helping him to put a GYW onto their website
