Brotherly love

Hi everyone,

This week I was in Dublin on Tuesday with TJ and Jonny planning for their solidarity day which is going to be fab. They've a great group of young people who are really committed and have planned some excellent actions, including some street theatre.

This week, in between the YWN meeting I am going to be working with Mike to develop the three proposals for the future of the network and we are meeting Mickella on Thursday to work on this too. I am meeting Dylan to on Thursday to do some further work on the campaigns and advocacy plan for year and developing the new way of working.

I am also working with Céline on writing a EC bid for YJIA. This came from left-field last week and we decided to work hard this week in amongst everything to get a bid in, as it is too good an opportunity to take campaign forward and back to the UN.

I am also organising the CRIG meeting between Isabel and Blackburn YMCA, finalising the EC International Alert bid, writing a brief for Momodou for our staff training, writing a paper for the board about Lola becoming the chair of our sub-committee and another one about the year end accounts, writing some job descriptions for Mo in Wales, preparing for my RWR and disseminating the K and W YMCA report.

After all that I am going to need a break so a week with my twin for some bro bonding and love as we celebrate our (2)1 st birthday together. Last time we did this it involved very high mountains and lots of blowing out of my a**, so my aim for the week is simply to stop him taking me hiking!
