I had a lovely weekend as Bare Groove took the stage once more time. We have finished our promo CD and you can hear us here and also here.
This week I am taking Mike to meet with the now infamous 'Jim Shepley from Hornsey YMCA'
Tomorrow I am in the office followed by our planing meeting on wednesday and the training/xmas gig on Thursday.
Friday I am off, as an old old friend who has been working in East Timor and Darfour flys into london for 5 hours, on his way home to Dublin. I worked with Paul in Zimbabwe way back in 2007 and it will be great to talk about where our lives have taken us. Its cool we are both still in development, as he works for Concern so I am sure we will reflect on this loads.
I am working on Monday but then from Tuesday off to Brum, to sing carols, eat festive food and drink too much with my twin brother as we celebrate the new doctor who (Surely you mean birth of Jesus - Ed) on the 25th December.
So as I leave the office on Monday, I am always drawn to one of my favorite xmas songs of all time.
I leave you with a small clip of this from the best Christmas film of all time and the definitive cinematic version of Dickens classic.

Sadly for the rest of you, I am perhaps also very much looking forward to the new adventure of The Doctor.
Also, the appearance on tv of the largely recluse Rowan Atkinson in a new Blackadder documentary (10:30on BBC1) is another pretty good Christmas present.
