Off soon for my RWR/6monthly probation so if you don't see or hear from me again... it's been great ;)
On a serious note, after that Matt and I are off to the cricket, which should be good provided the weather holds and ditto for the weekend's wimbledon and other festivities that may or may not involve a(nother) bbq!
Next week it's time to grind out the DFID end of year report in time for the end on June. It's been a briliant year for the network and I really feel that 6 months into my short tenure that it's grown in both quantity and quality! While it's still a ways away yet, we're motoring towards the annual conference in October (15-16th book it!) and the first step is confirming the venue which should be signed sealed and delivered on Monday. Then it's time to promote, promote, promote! The off-the-record announcement is that it's going to be at the Campanile Hotel in Glasgow and the even better thing is that the venue has come in WELL under budget :)
Also next week I have a meeting with Phil Martin and the rest of the Met region on Wednesday but I'll be thinking of you, Stuart as you embark on a new chapter with the move to the new office.
Finishing up the week, I'm up in Barnsley with Stuart to see Andrea and go through some case studies of her gyw, do an interview for the YWN and offer support to her staff as she goes off on maternity leave. Should we get a card?
