Scaring people

Feeling a little bit weirded out by the forthcoming interviews, it did cross my mind to dress up as Frankenstein to meet each of the candidates but then thought it might not go down to well. Well it is Halloween on Friday?? You've got to get in the mood haven't you.

Aptly enough, I would say the conference is possibly turning into a sort of Frankenstein's Monster at the moment as it seems to be taking lots of time and organising, but I'm enjoying it and really looking forward to it. Thanks so so much for all your help on this so far. I think it's going to be great.

So, I'm entering the last 3 weeks of my job now. Weird. Still hasn't sunk in properly at all. The training day in Manchester was really good - I enjoyed it a lot. Celine - thanks for your invaluable help. I'm working on the conference now until it happens, and then after the conference just incessantly writing handover notes whilst trying to remain sane and not too sad about leaving you all. I've been doing a lot of thinking over the past few weeks about how much of an impact you've all had on my life - I am properly going to miss you all.

Anyway, apart from the conference I will only be out of the office on 17th Nov to go and see the Scottish seed funding dudes.
