Mamma Mia! Just five days to go and we'll be off to Prague 08 (expect Stuart and Hannah who are going by van on Thursday). I have a dream that it is all going to be great, hard work, but the out comes are going to out weight the S.O.S of tears, sweat and screams of pips being squeezed, so much more. I am sure there will be time for those talent Dancing Queen('s) to show off they moves too. And when all is siad and done we will celabrate with style.
Now the name of the game for the rest of the week here in the North East is to finish writing 18 month report, complete expenses and write up Worship session plan so that everyone can have a copy at Wednesday's meeting.

Money! Money! Money! (seed funding)
over the last few weeks I have been working with Darlington and Consett with regrds to they seed funding projects.
Darlington: Art in the Park was a wash out but we help it within the V Project offices. Had 20 young people participate making art on canvases with news headlines looking at twisting the truth. With the help of two local artists (my brother and sister-in-law) a core group of young people built to live size human people out of chicken wire and bamboo sticks.
Matt and Celine came and delivered a day workshops about YJIA. The group was small and changed during the day but all went well.
Consett: Have attending the group that received the funding and delivered a workshop around what pressure young people are facing today looking at the local/personal and moving onto the international through presenting the YJIA PowerPoint Presentation and asking what pressure may have lead to the young people they had just seen to end up where they were. A very young group but are very open and honest about what pressure they and their friends are facing.
Final word:
Honey Honey, I want you all to know that althrough I am nothing speical in fact I am a bit of a bore, if I tell a joke you've probble heard it before, but I have a talent a wonderful thing casue everyone starts to listen when I start to sing, I am so greatful and proud, all i want is to sing it out loud - THAT YOU ARE ALL SUPER TROUPER(s)!!!!!

Damn, i only found 7. Take it you've been to see the movie this w/end? It's tempting, just to hear how awful Pierce B's singing is!
All sounds cool, esp building the life size humans from Chicken Wire - and we were worried about making rolling globes!
