Hept-National Fever

Hello again all!

It's that time of year again, when winter begins to bite that little bit harder, the Christmas credit card bills feel lighter and socialising gets put back onto the calendar - yes, it's February - which only means one thing - it's rugby time! I'm not normally a fan of nationalism but I do find this month to be a good time to cement my celtic heritage with some traditional welsh fodder (Carlsberg and chips) over a course of arduous weekends involving the fraying of nerves and the hoarsing of voices. Those of you who would like to join in - please point me in the direction of the best places to watch the spectacle of another grand slam unfold...

And so unto business, which is less busy than January so far, with the following events in the diary...

4 Feb - Bridgwater YMCA, South West England Support Day
6 Feb - Annual Leave - travelling home for my brother's 21st!
26-27 - Annual Leave - Off to Paris!

Seed Funding

This month I'm focussing on Seed Funding support for the 09 programme, while trying to push through the final stages of the 08 projects. There has already been some interest in applying for the Seed Funding Panel, which is great! Application packs for 09 will be posted out in the first week of Feb.

I'm also still trying to set up a visit to Ireland and will be planning for a training day in Hornsey which has been pushed to 6 March and another couple of training days in Wales that are planned for 4-5 March.
